Apple's CEO Steve Jobs said in a recent press conference that the iPhone evolved from the iPad and not the other way around. Steve Jobs said that he went into Apple's R&D department and asked them to work on a computer like device with internet capabilities that has a multi-touch glass surface. Six months later and he was presented with a prototype that resembled today's iPad and said "we can make this to be a phone, make it smaller!"

Article: iPhone 4 - The Best iPhone Yet

best iphone | Jul 20th, 2010 | by Editor

I have owned all four versions of the iPhone and I have to say the iPhone 4 is by far the best iPhone to date. The first noticeable difference between the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4 is the sleek new design. The design of the iPhone 4 is smooth and sleek and anyone who has upgraded from the 3GS version of this device can attest to that. After using the iPhone 4 for the past several weeks, I am amazed at how rough... read article

Who cares? Apple came out with it first!

In a mutual interview taken on May 30th 2007 featuring Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, we see Bill Gates explaining what the future of PCs will look like. If you listen carefully you will realize that he is indeed talking about an iPad like device, light years before apple even thought about it. But what can we say... "Who dares, wins!"

Yawn. Nothing revolutionary here.

In a keynote presentation today at WWDC, Steve Jobs officially unveiled the iPhone 4. It's powered by an A4 chip, has a glass front and back, and has stainless steel around the edges, which turns out to be part of the antenna system. The new iPhone uses what Jobs called a "Retina display," running at 960x640, or 326 ppi. The battery is also bigger, with a corresponding increase in battery life. The iPhone 4 supports 802.11n, has two mics for noise cancellation, and a three-axis gyroscope, which allows rotation and precision that accelerometers can't match. The iPhone 4's camera is using a 5-megapixel backside illuminated sensor, which Jobs said does better at low-light photography. It also records 720p video at 30 frames per second, with tap-to-focus. What do you think of the announcement?

An odd couple decided to conduct their wedding ceremony at the place where they first met, New York Fifth Avenue's Apple Store. Unfortunately, Steve Jobs couldn't make it, and if the couple would've waited until late March, they would've had the chance of reading their vows off an iPad.
