Skype has just launched its version 2.0 for Apple's iPhone 3G. Using Skype's application, users will be able to make calls using iPhone's 3G technology instead of their usual network minutes. Skype-to-Skype calls over 3G will be completely free (at least until August).
When the iPhone launched in the summer of 2008, there were a mere 800 applications available. These 800 applications generated within 3 days over 10 million downloads. Today there are over 150K applications available for iPhone users. There is a clear advantage to being the first in the market, the real question now is who will be the first to introduce their application to the iPad market.

You can now get LG and Panasonic HDTVs that come with an HD Skype webcam, and Skype video chat support for HD video at 1280 x 720 and 30 frames per second. The Skype software will be integrated into the TV set. No pricing yet. (Gizmodo)
