Mint

Roomba, iRobot's dominating floor cleaning robot, will face new competition with the newly unveiled Mint. The big difference: Mint doesn't just go randomly around the house: it uses an infra red beacon to identity spots that haven't been cleaned yet.

The enemies you see over and over in video games are used over and over for a good reason - They’re fun to fight. But after awhile of fighting the same old enemies, you can to be really sick and tired. When that happens, it’s time to find a new enemie, or make a fresh new approach to the video games bad guys.

way robots trusteed human females
No way. Robots can't be trusteed around human females.

Couples in Japan are begging to opt for automated minsters at their weddings, instead of the more traditional human-type officiants. After all, robots don't forget their lines, and work for even less than the clergy. What is your opinion of using a machine for this formerly human-served purpose?

No there are better ones available
I don't like it

This is one good robot! Firstly you won't need to buy your kid three different robots because this one can actually transform into three different robots. This is what a true Transformer robot is like! Secondly it is solar powered so you won't need to worry about the batteries, etc. Do you like it?

Vote for: What do you think of the iRobot APOBS weapon?

robots | Jun 1st, 2010 | by Owen Ferguson
awesome
That's awesome.
way robots weapons
No way. Robots shouldn't have weapons.

iRobot has released new video of its Warrior robot, a beefed up version of the more well-known PackBot, demonstrating use of the APOBS (Anti-Personnel Obstacle Breaching System), an explosive line charge deployed by a rocket, with a small parachute holding back the end of the line. The APOBS, iRobot says, is designed for "deliberate breaching of anti-personnel minefields and multi-strand wire obstacles." Do you like the idea of equipping robots with this type of weaponry?
