A digital camera records and stores photographic images in digital form. Many current models are also able to capture sound or video, in addition to still images. Capture is usually accomplished by use of a photosensor, using a charged coupled device (CCD).

Everybody owns a digital camera nowadays, they have become quite affordable and even the cheapest ones can do a decent job if you just want to have some pictures of your kids. The digital cameras with at most 10 megapixels are good enough for home use but even passionate hobby-photographers can find models that offer them enough features for pretentious photos. Which is the model you would choose?
