Vote for: Which will you prefer, a Nexus One with flash capabilities or an iPhone with HTML 5?
apple | May 14th, 2010 | by Brandon
Seventy-five percent of all video on the web is viewed via Flash Player, including videos encoded in the most popular codecs such as H.264 and VP6. Apple is putting all of its eggs in HTML5's basket, and maybe that will pay off in the future, but right now it isn't doing the company many favors. Flash has full support for working on touch-based devices and the fact that Android has outsold the iPhone this year in the U.S. means that Flash probably isn't losing the kind of ground Apple hoped it would as Android secures itself as a dominant platform.

Vote for: Google's Nexus One Android phone is everywhere, will you get one?
nexus one | May 12th, 2010 | by Editor
It seems that Apple was the one to serve with the launch of the iPhone, but Google's powerful backhand isn't making it easy for Apple as Android phone sales have exceeded iPhone sales (after all, nearly all of the carriers have Android powered phones, while only one carrier (AT&T) carries the iPhone). Not being the first in the market isn't always a bad thing, the Nexus One (Nexus 1) looks very promising as Google had the privilege of studying the post-iPhone market and make up for all that's missing. The Nexus One has an amazingly sexy design, weighs only 130g (with battery), has a 5MP camera/video camera (with flash), 3 UMTS bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Android OS, 512 MB Flash, 512 MB RAM, a 4 GB Micro SD Card (can be expanded to 32 GB) and AGPS (Assisted global positioning system).
