Before the J series it was Sony's L series that offered touch screen computers but they were too expensive! This is the reason why Sony probably felt the need of introducing a new J series labeling it as an affordable touch screen series. The starting price is $900 which might not be very cheap but for a touch screen computer it is! What do you think?

Today NEC announced a new 3D to be shipped in Japan named Valuestar N VN790/BS. This pc comes with a 20inch screen which would be 3D of course with a 1600x900 resolution.The best part is that there is a Blu-ray drive too and you can watch Blu-Ray content on 3D.
