Being the "gadget-er" that I am, I'm a power user and will "early adopt" new gadgets, but, in the long run, a committed user of great devices, I have to ask this question...

A Universal Mailbox is soon coming to iPhone which would allow you to check all your email inboxes through one application. On one side it can be a mess and on the other side it can be a luxury! Would you take it as a luxury or a mess?

When the iPhone launched in the summer of 2008, there were a mere 800 applications available. These 800 applications generated within 3 days over 10 million downloads. Today there are over 150K applications available for iPhone users. There is a clear advantage to being the first in the market, the real question now is who will be the first to introduce their application to the iPad market.

Skype has just launched its version 2.0 for Apple's iPhone 3G. Using Skype's application, users will be able to make calls using iPhone's 3G technology instead of their usual network minutes. Skype-to-Skype calls over 3G will be completely free (at least until August).

Apple is set for a big press conference event on January 26 in San Francisco, and rumors on what exactly will Apple unveil are abounding, with most tech media concentrating on the possibility Apple will release a 10 inch tablet PC using the same touch technology used on the ipod touch and the iphone. Most speculate the tablet will consist of a stronger machine that will basically run the iphone infrastructure and app world.

Apple claims that HTC have infringed 20 patents owned by Apple that are used in the iPhone. Steve Jobs said: "We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it... We've decided to do something about it." source

Nintendo has seen its decrease of profits from $3.03 billion to $2.48 billion. Still the opportunity exists for Nintendo to lead the market against its rival Apple.
