Good news to all Apple iPad enthusiasts. Apple has just confirmed that the soon to be launched iPad will be available on Best Buy shelves April 3rd from 9AM. So grab your sleeping bags and tents, because it will be a long line.
Sounds like a decent price for a fully spec'd tablet computer.
The current rumor is Apple will launch its tablet, possibly titled iSlate, in a special event on January 26. Wall Street Journal reports today that the tablet will be available in stores by March and sport a $1000 price tag.
On Saturday, April 3, Apple's much-discussed iPad tablet computer will go on sale. The device, which looks like a larger version of Apple's iPod Touch, starts at $499.
Gaikai is a revolutionary online gaming service (currently in beta), lead by the well known game developer David Perry. Gaikai will allow you to play games inside your web browser using a Flash client on any desktop and on the iPad. Sadly, it's not native. It's being streamed through Wi-Fi.

Apple's CEO Steve Jobs said in a recent press conference that the iPhone evolved from the iPad and not the other way around. Steve Jobs said that he went into Apple's R&D department and asked them to work on a computer like device with internet capabilities that has a multi-touch glass surface.
