I'm glad to see it go. That was an unreliable way to store data.

3.5" is awesome, and I don't think it will die fast. Keep a USB drive to be safe.

I plan to back up all my diskettes to diskette-shaped CD-Rs

Sony is discontinuing the 3.5" diskette. This format has been around since 1981. What do you think?
