Vote for: What is the best OS to run on a Notion Ink Adam?
notion ink adam | May 27th, 2010 | by Owen Ferguson
Unlike the iPad, the Notion Ink Adam uses open hardware and is therefore capable of running different operating systems. In addition to the Android install that comes on the devices, users will be able to choose to use Google's much anticipated Chrome OS (if it ever comes out) or a slimmed-down version of popular Linux distro Ubuntu. Which of these operating systems do you think is best?

Vote for: Will the Notion Ink Adam change the way we look at tablets?
notion ink adam | May 13th, 2010 | by Editor
The Notion Ink Adam is just around the corner, scheduled to launch in June/July. By what we managed to see, compared to the Apple iPad, it has; a larger touchscreen (10"-inch) which has the ability to run on lower power (giving the Notion Ink Adam's battery longer running time), Google's Android OS, Google Chrome and Firefox browsers, HDMI and 3 USB outputs, 1080p video out (compared to iPad's 720p), 3MP autofocus rotating camera, 16 hours of battery life (as opposed to iPad's 10), RF, ambient light sensor which lets you sit in bright day light, AGPS, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, a touch pad, an adobe flash reader, and an SD card slot. All this for an extremely low price of $327-$800.

Gone are the days of 1 television set with 3 network channels. These days, the content delivery marketplace is heavily segmented. However, some dominant brands are recognizable in the emerging space.

Vote for: Do you like the Apple iPad even though it doesn't have multitasking abilities?
apple ipad | Apr 14th, 2010 | by Jaswriter
Like the iPhone and the iPod Touch, the iPad has the ability to run one application at a time (with a few exceptions such as the iPod music app and Yahoo IM). Rumors say that Google is planning to change this when introducing its tablet, by giving it multitasking abilities.

Vote for: What is the best tablet in the market?
tablet | May 25th, 2010 | by Editor

| Apple iPad |

| Google Android Tablet |

| Nvidia Tegra Android Tablet |

| Hewlett-Packard (HP) Tablet |

| Notion Ink Adam Tablet |
It seems that Apple may have been the first in the market, introducing the iPad. However, it looks like the real competition is just around the corner as every major mobile and computer manufacturer is talking about their own version of the tablet. There are rumors about Google's attempt to enter the tablet market with a device that it's developing with major hardware manufacturers. Google has nothing to prove in the OS aspect of the tablet, as we have already witnessed Android capabilities on the Notion Ink Adam and on Nvidia's Tegra tablet. Microsoft joined forces with HP in an attempt to dominate the tablet market, which ended up as a huge disappointment, as the $500 tablet is nothing more than a Windows 7 touchscreen PC. Nvidia recently introduced its new tablet that has 1 GB of RAM, 2 USB ports and a frontal camera (three things that the iPad does not have). Lets hope that Google will meet our expectations.

Vote for: What is the best manual egg beater?

There are many great recipes that require you to start with very well beaten eggs in order to achieve the desired results. Making all those well-beaten eggs by hand can be quite difficult, and it seems like a bit of a waste to plug in an electric appliance just to alleviate a little dexterous fork work. Thankfully, there are lots of great manual egg beaters available. Which one do you like the best?
