Vote for: Do you play RoboDefense on your Google Nexus One?
nexus one | May 20th, 2010 | by Brandon
The object of RoboDefense is to stop the armies of invaders moving from their base on the left-hand side of the screen, to your fortress. In order to do this you have to buy robots using the money you accumulate from killing enemy robots.

Being the "gadget-er" that I am, I'm a power user and will "early adopt" new gadgets, but, in the long run, a committed user of great devices, I have to ask this question...

Vote for: Which will you prefer, a Nexus One with flash capabilities or an iPhone with HTML 5?
apple | May 14th, 2010 | by Brandon
Seventy-five percent of all video on the web is viewed via Flash Player, including videos encoded in the most popular codecs such as H.264 and VP6. Apple is putting all of its eggs in HTML5's basket, and maybe that will pay off in the future, but right now it isn't doing the company many favors. Flash has full support for working on touch-based devices and the fact that Android has outsold the iPhone this year in the U.S. means that Flash probably isn't losing the kind of ground Apple hoped it would as Android secures itself as a dominant platform.

Vote for: Google's Nexus One Android phone is everywhere, will you get one?
nexus one | May 12th, 2010 | by Editor
It seems that Apple was the one to serve with the launch of the iPhone, but Google's powerful backhand isn't making it easy for Apple as Android phone sales have exceeded iPhone sales (after all, nearly all of the carriers have Android powered phones, while only one carrier (AT&T) carries the iPhone). Not being the first in the market isn't always a bad thing, the Nexus One (Nexus 1) looks very promising as Google had the privilege of studying the post-iPhone market and make up for all that's missing. The Nexus One has an amazingly sexy design, weighs only 130g (with battery), has a 5MP camera/video camera (with flash), 3 UMTS bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Android OS, 512 MB Flash, 512 MB RAM, a 4 GB Micro SD Card (can be expanded to 32 GB) and AGPS (Assisted global positioning system).

Vote for: Would you use a Fake Battery Android App to avoid friends' playtime requests?
nexus one | May 28th, 2010 | by Brandon
Tired of people nagging you to let them play with your Android, draining the battery? It's as bad as the first weeks of the iPhone, somedays. Download the free Fake Battery app, so you have a legitimate excuse not to lend your phone to someone.

The brand new Adam tablet by Notion Ink is a wonderful new generation of portable computing excellence. The high-powered mobile computer operates using the Andriod OS originally developed by Google for smart phones, so there is a bevy of great free software already available.
