Now that the iPad 3G is on sale complete with a GPS chip inside you might want to mount it in your car. But nobody yet makes a good car solution. Scosche iKit set to come out this summer.

the only way I would use this is if Scosche or someone else came out with an iPad app that was very similar to newer GPS's
