One of Apple's and Amazon's many visions for the iPad and Kindle is to take over the print industry. The vision is of a world where books, magazines and newspapers are not made of paper, but rather touch and led battery powered screens. Wired is currently developing an application that will help the iPad take one step closer to Apple's vision.

ipads may save trees but the manufacturing causes many other problems.. not to mention trees are a sustainable resource.. consumer electronics are most definitly not!
